Do you have a dog who loves the snow? If you can’t tell from this photo, we have one who can’t get enough of it! There is something even more appealing to him when it is freshly fallen snow and he gets to make all the new tracks throughout the yard. Sometimes he acts just like one of the kids around here. He doesn’t leave very much of the fresh snow untouched for when the kids get home from school.

The best part is, not only does the dog enjoy the time outside but so do I. These winter days in Minnesota can be so cold and staying inside where it’s always warm can sound more appealing in the moment. But I challenge you to take the few minutes it takes to get the appropriate gear on to brave the cold and embrace it! The crisp air is so good for the mind and soul. If you have kids or a dog they will provide a giggle or two as they trample through the snow which will also lift your spirits.

We still have a lot of Minnesota winter to go so I encourage you to find little ways to embrace it and encourage someone else to do the same. 🤍
